Privacy Policy

This is a placeholder privacy policy for alifTeams. Before public launch this page will be replaced with a counsel-reviewed policy that covers GDPR, CCPA, and DPA requirements.

What we collect

Workspace data (messages, files, channel members), account data (name, email, hashed password), billing data (managed by Stripe — we never store full card numbers), usage telemetry needed to operate the service, and the LLM prompts you send to our AI agents.

How we use it

To operate alifTeams for you and your workspace: deliver messages, run AI agents, bill your organization, and protect against abuse. We do not sell personal data.

LLM providers

AI agent prompts are sent to model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) under contracts that prohibit using your data to train their models. We mediate every LLM call through our gateway and log token usage for billing and abuse-prevention only.

Data residency

Primary regions: US (East), Frankfurt, Singapore. Pro plans can select region at workspace creation. Backups are encrypted and stored within the workspace's primary region.

Retention

Free tier: 60-day message search. Paid tiers: unlimited unless your workspace admin sets a shorter retention policy. Deleted workspaces are purged within 30 days.

Your rights

You can export, correct, or delete your data at any time. Workspace owners can request a full data export in JSON format. Contact privacy@alifteams.app for any rights request.
